From My Heart to Yours!!!
I think about my friends a lot more than many of them realize.
While some of them live nearby, others live far away.
I can’t pop over for a visit any time I like and I have to keep in touch through e-mail or through telephone, but it’s worth it!
My friends are an important group who have helped make me the person I am today. Their honesty and dedication to me have been invaluable, their smiles and support-worth more than millions!
Sometimes I wonder what the future holds for me.
Will I continue to live so far away from some of the people closest to my heart? I hope not, though you live in various parts of Canada and, now, the USA, so I guess I won’t be close to all of you, but I can be a lot closer than I am!
So I’ve written this today, for those of you who have stood by me and never raised a finger to judge me, regardless of my words or actions, regardless of my thoughts or ideas.
I don’t need to list your name.
You know who you are!
Loving You
I love you more than roses
Yet, I love them, oh, so much.
I love their sweet perfume-
The petals-soft to my touch.
I love you more than oceans
Yet, I long to sit upon the shore.
I love gazing into the distance-
Learning about my core.
I love you more than sunshine
Yet, I hope to see it every day.
It pushes away the storm clouds-
Wipes all my tears away.
I love you more than diamonds
Yet, they’re dazzling to behold.
They sparkle, shine, and glisten-
More beautiful than gold.
So if you read between the lines
You’re sure to see my heart.
You’ll see someone who loves you-
Who can’t stand to be apart.
But, yet, we are together-
Our spirits are intertwined.
I love you and you love me-
God sure is a Master Mind.
I wonder what He has in store
For our future here on Earth?
When my mind starts rambling
My soul fills with mirth.
What if He does this or He does that
Or does something else instead!
Whatever He chooses to do-
He’ll be sure our spirit’s fed.
