Full Heart
What can you do when your heart is too full;
When you feel you’re going to burst?
What can you say to someone you love
That won’t make them think the worst?
What can you do with the flooding joy
Which threatens to overflow?
What can you say to relieve the tears
The joy causes in your soul?
What can you do when your heart is scared
Of the turbulent emotions it feels;
When you wonder why you’re where you are
Instead of where you’d rather be?
What can you do when your mind wanders
To places you try to avoid;
But every time you do what’s right
Your heart gets ripped inside?
Thank God, there is Someone
Who understands my heart;
Someone who gave His life
And set my soul apart.
