Jesus Stands Tall

Do you wonder what life would be like if one of your closest friends, or family members, were to leave you?

Do you wonder how you would cope with living from one day to the next without this beloved person in your life?

Many of us do.
We wonder about it and, even our thoughts, sometimes, make us cry.
We imagine what it would be like to lose someone, even when they're in perfect health, and it hurts.
But, afterwards, we smile because we haven't lost this relationship, not yet.
The person is still very much a part of our lives. We can rejoice!

But, that's not the case for all of us. Sometimes we know we're going to lose someone close to us. We feel it!
Some of us have already lost a loved one and the ache is still present.
It's harder to smile then because we're not imagining anymore. We're living reality and reality can be heart-breaking.

Mike and I wrote a poem and thought we would place it here.

Our prayer is that you will find comfort in the words that follow; that you will know, regardless of what happens, that you are not alone because Jesus walks beside you, if you are a Christian.

If you're not a Christian, my friend, I don't know how you survive even the imagination of losing someone.
I don't know how you can wake up in the morning, to face a day of suffering without Jesus holding your hand.
I don't know where you find your hope, or your inspiration, to continue living because Jesus is Life-abundant life.

Mike and I urge you to make Him yours today. Allow Jesus to heal your broken heart and to mend your broken spirit.
Invite Him inside and discover the meaning of abundant living.
You'll not regret it.
You'll have all of eternity to rejoice in the decision you make today.

If you decide to commit your life to Jesus, Mike and I would be proud to hear about it. Please e-mail us using the icon at the left.

Now...here's the poem you've been waiting for...

Jesus Stands Tall

If anything happens
Jesus is there.
If you have a need
Yes, Jesus cares.

No matter your trial
Whether big or small
Jesus is with you.
Jesus stands tall!

He wants you to know
That He’s not afraid.
He’s right beside you
So you’ve got it made.
