God's Plan
I said a prayer for you today
That God would prepare your heart
To follow His direction.
It would be an awesome start.
Today, God has a plan for you;
A desire in His heart.
He wants you to follow Him.
He needs you to play your part.
There’s only so much I can do.
I need partners at my side;
People who care for others’ souls,
Who can swim against the tide.
I need soldiers for the cross
Who stand firm and believe.
Many souls are perishing.
False teachings they receive.
Yes, God has a plan for you;
Desires to bless your life.
His heart yearns to set you free
From any sin and strife.
He wants peace to flood your soul
To light your face and eyes.
He yearns to give you a home,
To say no more good-byes.
God loves you more than I do.
My love cannot compare.
But when I get to Heaven
My home I’ll want to share.
We can walk streets together,
Sit by the crystal sea,
Sing praises unto Jesus,
If, first, you bend your knee.
